Spooky October Fun

Never mind Halloween - in Cornwall the end of October brings Samhain, one of the oldest festivals in the cleric calendar. The dead rise from their graves and fires are lit to ward them off. Plus there are some great things to do at National Trust properties around the county:

Pumpkin fun day is filled with all things pumpkin from a pumpkin shy to pumpkin carving. On the 25th, Spooky Story Telling brings the tales of Trengwainton to life.
