Fantastic Coastal Walks In West Cornwall

Cornwall has the most beautiful coastline, and the coastal path means you can enjoy every inch of it.
Here are some particularly stunning circular walks between Porthcurno and Lamorna in the very
west of the county.

St Loy Cove

Taking you through bluebell woods to a tranquil boulder beach.  The south facing valley enjoys a warm climate all year round and many sub-tropical plants are grown here. The beach is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy total peace and quiet. Moderate, one short steep section, approx. 1 hour plus sitting time.

Treen, Logan Rock and Penberth

A beautiful walk with some spectacular views over some of the best beaches and coves in west Cornwall.  The Logan Rock is a large boulder balancing on the Treryn Dinas headland and the site of  an Iron Age promontory fort. Moderately steep in places, 1hr 30mins

Porthgwarra and Nanjizal

From the picturesque cove of Porthgwarra (as featured in Poldark), the walk takes you across some beautiful moorland and stunning cliffs to Milbay and Nanjizal beach.  The sand here moves around so sometimes it is full of golden sand and others it is mostly rock. The cliffs here feature lots of caves which are very picturesque. The return walk takes you through farmland to St Levan church and the Minack open air theatre. Moderate, 2hr 30 mins
