Trevathan is a working farm and has been farmed by the Symons family since 1850. Unsuitable for modern farming methods, the old farm buildings have been converted into eleven holiday cottages and visitors are able to walk all over the farm or enjoy our daily tractor and trailer rides around the farm checking and feeding animals. Helping hands are always welcome with our farm work, we usually have lambs and calves that need hand feeding. Our goats, hens, rabbits, guinea pigs, Shetland ponies and Wallaby family are a great attraction and the dogs would much rather play than do any real work. All our cottages have been awarded 4 Star Gold status and are fully equipped, have their own garden and beds made up ready for your arrival. We also have a tennis court, games room, volleyball court and children's play area. There is a large fishing lake on the farm, set within forty acres of land devoted to the encouragement of natural fauna and flora. Trevathan is situated two miles from the coast not more than a ten-minute drive away you will find Polzeath, Daymer Bay and Rock with some of the best sailing, surfing and water skiing. So much to see and do, or just stay at the farm and relax.
