Spectacular views across open countryside to Widemouth Bay and Bude (2 miles) and a lovely, tranquil rural setting greet visitors to the twelve delightful cottages at Wooldown Farm, decorated and furnished to an exceptionally high standard. We are ideally located for exploring the north Cornish coast's wealth of tiny coves and fishing villages including Port Isaac, Boscastle and mystical Tintagel. Walking on the coastal paths or simply enjoying its glorious sandy surfing beaches. The seaside town of Bude boasts superb beaches, good shopping, restaurants, an excellent 'Splash' pool, tennis, horse riding, cycle hire, a golf course and canalside walks. Inland, the unspoilt countryside offers a delightful blend of woods, lakes and moorland dotted with quaint hamlets and friendly pubs. A variety of water sports can be found at Tamer Lakes (8 miles) and just a short drive away is Clovelly, a picture postcard gem of a village whose whitewashed cottages and inns line the steep, winding cobbled street leading down to its historic fishing harbour. Home to Rick Stein's restaurants and the start of the famous Camel Trail cycling route, the attractive fishing port of Padstow.
