Close to Padstow, in a beautiful, peaceful location, overlooking a creek, our 6 cottages, converted from a range of traditional stone farm buildings, are suitable for both couples and families with young children. For couples, The Old Round House is full of character and has an open fire and enclosed garden. Our other one bedroom Cottage, Lily Pad, has a four poster bed and log burner. Owls Roost (sleeps 4) has the living room upstairs to make the most of the views and also has a log burner. Curlew and Serendipity comfortably sleep 4. Curlew has a four poster bed, and Serendipity a log burner. Badgers Way (sleeps 4) is a very spacious cottage with an enclosed garden and open fire. All the cottages are extremely well equipped, and personally maintained by the owners. On-site facilites are excellent with a heated indoor pool (seasonal), games room and outdoor trampoline. Facilities for young children are superb with trundle toys, sandpit and climbing frame outside. Indoors, the owners can generally provide toys/games suited to the age of the children. Babysitting can be arranged and cots and highchairs are provided at no extra cost. If you don't want to cook, The Pickwick Inn, 0.5 miles along our quiet lane, offers excellent food, as does the village inn, The Ring O'Bells, 1m away. One of the benefits of our location, is the beautiful 2.5m walk, along footpaths and onto the Camel trail, to reach the historic fishing port of Padstow. Alternatively a short walk through our land takes one down to the Little Petherick Creek with wonderful views over the Camel Estuary to Rock. Out of season, we offer short breaks (with a free basket of logs for the fire) at reasonable prices.
