Old Newham Farm

Old Newham makes an ideal base for your holiday. At the end of a quiet country lane, our small organic farm is less than 4 miles from the towering cliffs and sandy cove of Crackington Haven, about 5 miles from Boscastle. It has pleasant walks over fields grazed by our cattle and sheep alongside the River Ottery. We also keep horses and other smaller livestock for children to get to know. Cycles available. Internet access. Three cottages are set around the farmyard, dating back to mediaeval times. “Stables", a two-storey cottage for 4 has an impressive granite fireplace in the living room, separate kitchen/dining room and two cottage style bedrooms with en suite bathrooms upstairs. "Nutmeg's", a split-level cottage for 4 has a living room with a high-beamed ceiling, imposing chimney breast, open fire and galleried landing. Down a half flight of slate stairs at ground level is the kitchen and bathroom and two bedrooms are up the other half flight. “Skyber", a cottage for 2 with a double bedroom, is all on one level with old stone external walls and mellowed pine internal walls and ceiling giving this cottage a cosy, warm feel no matter what season.
