Polhormon Farm is set high above Poldhu Cove with magnificent views, from the approach lane, across Mount's Bay to Mousehole and Newlyn. Our lovely Georgian farmhouse has two double/family rooms, Polurrian and Poltesco, with bathrooms and shower over bath; and two double/twin rooms with en suite shower-room. Children are most welcome and will enjoy watching the milking, meeting the newborn calves and discovering all the activity that goes into running a busy dairy unit. We are situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Lizard Peninsula, Britain's most southerly point, with its unique geology, namely serpentine rock. Polhormon is only two fields' walk from the lovely old village of Mullion. Here, you will find plenty of places to eat and drink, including the thatched Old Inn and the Mounts Bay Inn, and lots of little shops for all your picnic needs. Mullion Church dates from the 14th Century and is one of the most beautiful in the British Isles. Guests can book sea fishing or sightseeing trips with local fisherman, Nigel Legge, or you may prefer to sunbathe on one of the Lizard's many sandy beaches - Poldhu Cove is only a stone's throw away, where you can hire surf boards and buy food and drinks from the Poldhu beach cafe - easy parking. There is also an 18-hole golf course and pony trekking close at hand and, of course, miles of cliff walks with rare flora and fauna and breathtaking views of the Atlantic Coast.
