Creathorne Farm is a 200 acre working 3rd generation family farm, blessed with a peaceful location on the North Cornwall coast, surrounded by beautiful countryside where Sheep, Horses, chicken, goats and our gentle South Devon Cattle graze with fantastic sea views and refreshing sea air. Moments from the coast and the sandy bathing and surfing beach at Widemouth bay which can be reached by foot in about 20 minutes in a beautiful walk through the fields or via the public footpath, or within minutes by car. Enjoy a day at the beach, try some surfing or boogie boarding, join the renowned South West coastal path, or stroll around the farm lanes and experience the sights and sounds at Creathorne Farm where countryside meets the coast. There is always something exciting happening on the Farm, experience Lambing time, help bottle feed any orphan lambs, meet the newborn calves that arrive throughout the year, meet Betsy and Laura, our pet goats and spend some time with the friendly Farm dogs. However you choose to spend your time whilst on holiday, Creathorne will offer something for everyone. We have 2 cottages at Creathorne Farm each sleeping 6/7 plus cots.
Both cottages are beautifully restored 19th century Cornish stone barns and form two sides of a charming courtyard which was the original farmyard at Creathorne, have now have been transformed into stunning holiday cottages, sympathetically restored to capture the charm and character of the original buildings, yet furnished and decorated to offer superb luxury with everything you need for a fantastic holiday in this stunning area of North Cornwall. Each has its own enclosed child friendly garden and WIFI access.
There is ample space for several cars to park in the courtyard immediately outside. There are some excellent Pubs, restaurants and tea rooms in the area, the nearest is approximately 1 mile away, the main resort of Bude is 3 miles away where you will find many attractions including a number of sandy beaches, a sea pool, 10 pin bowling and play zone, a fun pool, golf, horses riding, surf and adventure lessons are just a few of the many and varied things to do. We are excellently located to enjoy and discover all that Cornwall and North Devon has to offer, with places such as Boscastle, Clovelly, The Eden Project and Lands End being a comfortable drive away.
